Life Lessons Along The Way

My Daily Journal

My daily journal is separate from my blog, where I post a daily note about where I am in the world, what I experience, and what I learn. Quick notes about the day to recall my experiences.

Colonial Beach, Depression, Transitions, and Change – Reflections from the road

As I travel the country and explore the world, I find that I still face the challenges of life. To some, full-time travel may look like a full-time vacation, but really, it's just about having a different lifestyle than most. My time on the road is no different from...

An afternoon in Philly

With an open day, I decided to venture out to Philly to explore and play in the city. I used my new Lifelogging too, Looki. Throughout the day, I saw some historical sites, the Rocky statue, and took an eBike ride through the city. Here is a short video of my...

Lookie startup

As doing a daily blog/vlog continues to be something I am committed to do, and I seem to be challenged in doing them, I made a choice to do it differently… and added a new tool to my life… the Lookie. While most if the day was spent working and playing catchup, I did...

It’s raining and I’m blue

I should’ve completed all of my work for the week today, in addition to yesterday, and here it is just after 8 o’clock, and I still have a few hours of things to do. I find myself a bit on the downside, as I’m struggling to find motivation and drive to move forward....

Night walk to Casa Bella

The Lake in PA

It’s been a good minute since I last posted a daily; I still have not developed a daily habit; something to work on. I am still in PA, but I’ve moved from the lake house, or at least the lake property. I have been staying at the lake but needed to make a change and...

The County Fair – Wayne Co., PA

As the week closes, I decided to see the local, county fair. Was fun, small compared to So Cal, but nice end to the week. My friend Rick is in the hospital; bowl obstruction. This was the first time I have been inside of a hospital, since my mom left, and it stirred...

A drive in the country

I’m happy to report that there has been much better weather the past couple of weeks, which is allowed me to get out and explore the area. I have traveled through some local towns, including places such as. Lawton, Rushville, and Captown… and yes, they have races. I...
